Race 1 MSW 56,000 6 F (DIRT)
6 WILD MEDIA 9-5 Maldonado Headley
This is a tough race that has me perplexed somewhat. There is a lot of speed but with the layoffs and equipment changes, it’s hard to tell who will do what. This one first showed speed 2 back when drawing the rail. Same situation last. Looked good in stalking the pace in first two starts. Bred for sprinting and exits what appears to be 2 very tough MSW races.
4 FLY HIGH 5-2 Garcia Baffert
Bafferts numbers with layoff MSW runners are sensational. He’s got one of his main jocks up for this 500k ’11 purchase. Bred well to sprint and ran well in only start. Major player.
2 SOUTHERN SUNRISE 8-5 Puype Flores
Beyer numbers were superb but am suspect of the 103. That was Strub day and they went sub 1;08 during that 7F race later in the day. Has to be respected but will be overbet here.
