I know I am jinxing myself by doing this but I usually do very well for myself in the NCAA Tournament. I am going to keep this thread to track my record. Please feel free to bury me as I get my ass handed to me.

I will be adding more today but here are the early games I am playing.

I bet every first half under in the first round. 6-0 so far:) I noticed this last year and decided to give it a try this year. It seems teams come out tight and don't want to lose it in the first half, plus teams are playing much better defense each year.

I like Marquette on Saturday but I'm not touching Gonzaga... I think they are the most overrated team in the history of the game. Having said that, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if they blew out Wichita State.

Florida Gulf Coast knocks off Georgetown. Can they become the first #15 to reach the round of 16? I think they've got a legitimate shot as I'm not wild about the Mtn West or Big 12 conferences and FGCU is going to face the San Diego St/Oklahoma winner.

Big East not distinguishing itself in this tournament so far.

2nd day went 6-6-1 for a total of 16-11-2 not too bad for very little effort. End of that experiment and I think I can do better next year by trimming some of the games with run and gun styles.

Funny how early on in the season, Miami was dismissed as being elite because they had lost to Florida Gulf Coast by 11. Right now, that loss isn't looking so bad after all.

I've been shocked at the athleticism of FGCU. Watching them against Georgetown on Friday, they were the more athletic team, which almost never happens when a "little guy" goes up against the big name schools. Then last night they just run San Diego State out of the arena.

You gotta applaud the Cuse and their defense these last 2 games though. You might be interested in watching Grinnell College, they are a D3 school but they average something like 130 points a game, and had a player score 138 points in a game this year.

You can't... And it's nonsense to try to write away history. Everyone will remember the Fab Five. What is nice though is the way UofM has attempted to redeem itself and the fact it's finally paying off. That was a tremendous finals game!
