Great card tonight!
R1: 2,6,8......Kitty O'Brien-2/1 ML......Cashed and won multiple times at this level. Draws the rail and should once again fighting for the wire.
R2: 7,6,2......Fox valley Legend-10/1 ML......Wide open race. Closed great last time out and gets Magee aboard tonight. The 1 and 2 are mysteries with the 1st lasix and could very well blow it open here. Mr. Trifecta's Longshot of the Night!
R3: 9,4,2......True Shooter-6/1 ML......Another wide open race. Like about 5-6 horses here. First time starter blazed home from far back and was pushed out. Didn't do much over in Indy, but now back at Balmoral after a lightly raced 2 year old series. Qualifiers are good. Should be in tune and will need a clean trip to close late.
R4: 2,4,5......The Padre-5/2 ML......Closed well last time out and improved on the final time and would have easily beaten his new lifetime mark. Dave Magee sticks aboard and should look to close up again. Maybe a bit closer to the pace.
R5: 7,1,5......Casino Comp-5/1 ML......Magee was too far off the pace with those slow fractions and fired too late. Hoping for a fast 1Q and look for Magee to be closer to the pace and start his move much earlier.
R6: 1,9,4......Evil Urges-4/1 ML......Broke last time at the 1Q. Hochestetler taking the reigns tonight. Draws the rail and should be out on front or just off the pace. May get a price with Hochstetler driving.
R7: 2,1,4......Smart Rokker-6/1 ML......Nice qualifier and closed very well. Draws a nice inside post and should be sitting just off the leaders. Wilfong as of late has been doing well with 1st timers. Pick-4: 1,2,4 w 4,7,8 w 1,5,6 w 4,6 - $54
R8: 4,7,8......Two Part Harmony-7/2 ML......Closed up well last time. Looks to be improving that late kick. Should be pretty close fractions up front so should have plenty of gas down the stretch.
R9: 5,6,1......Somecam-4/1 ML......Big effort having to go 4w to make the stretch and closed strongly. Better trip and close post this evening. Should be sitting just off the pace. Mr. Trifecta's Pick of the Night!
R10: 6,4,1......Stonebridge Symbol-9/2 ML......Draws a bit closer this time. Can close well. Driver change to Curtin isn't too bad. A good early position in a weak field will do wonders here.
