Continuing some new handicapping methods. Let's see how tonight goes!
R1: 9,6,1......HR James-12/1 ML......1st time started was pretty good. Closed like a champ. Draws to the outside where this colt will be able to pick his spot a bit more. Should be flying late. Mr. Trifecta's Longshot of the Night!
R2: 5,6,7......Fox Valley Matinee-3/1 ML......Big drop in class here. Has cashed at tougher. Drops in for a money grab. Should be closing late. Mr. Trifecta's Lock of the Night!
R3: 2,1,6......Benns Score Keeper-5/2 ML......Big drop in class here. Has cashed at tougher. Loves to close and come flying in super late here. Clear trip should put this gelding in great position.
R4: 7,3,4......Arts-Rockstar-12/1 ML......2nd try off the up in class. DIdn't show much last time. Draws a touch closer and needs to stick closer to the pace here. Will have quite a bit of early speed so could be closing with the best of them.
R5: 4,3,8......One Last Chance-4/1 ML......Has won at this level before. Consistent casher and loves to stalk a few lengths off the pace. Has plenty of late kick here and should get live cover just to the inside of him.
R6: 1,6,7......Heath-3/1 ML......2nd off the class drop and draws the rail. Prefers to close late here and should have plenty of late kick down the stretch. Wouldn't be surprised if Oosting tries to wire the field here.
R7: 5,1,4......Peck Blue Chip-3/1 ML......Won last two at thsi level. Loves to be on the lead and will try once again for the wire.
R8: 9,2,10......Didrickson-7/2 ML......Ships down from Canda. Raced at a very high level there. Shows alot of nice closing speed and is used to a bit faster fractions then she will see here tonight. Magee jumps aboard. Wide open race.
R9: 7,8,4......Fort Silky-8/1 ML......Rivals here that love to go at it. Going with the hot hand with Fort Silky. Will have his hands full with St. Elmo Hero here, but two back did set a new lifetime mark against him. Does draw to the outside, but should get some cover from the 8.
R10: 1,7,8......Old Man River-9/2 ML......Draws a good post here. Fought against a very tough Thunder Steeler last time. Great effort in that race. Should be just off the pace. Pick-4: 1,7 w 1,9,10 w 1,3,4,5 w 2,8 - $48
R11: 9,10,1......Arch Villain-5/1 ML......Rounding nicely into form. Drew clear last time out against claiming handicap. Draws to the far outside. Would expect Sutton to get over early, but sit around mid pack and make a nice 3Q move. Mr. Trifecta's Pick of the Night!
R12: 3,1,5......Jackson Berlow-7/2 ML.....Drops back down in class where he was caught down the stretch. Draws a nice 2 hole here and should be up on or near the lead.
R13: 2,8,1......Rio's Z Tam-3/1 ML......Draws a good post here. Likes to be on or near the lead. Has won before at this level. Cashed last two. Should be in the mix.
