Big card up tonight!
R1: 6,8,1......Fox Valley Griffin-3/1 ML......Fresh off the layoff. Didn't show much off the first time ship. Gets some rest and had a decent qualifier. Look for this gelding to close late.
R2: 2,5,3......Ima Fancy King-6/1 ML......Gets post position relief here and ships back over from Balmoral. Suited for much better here. Cashed all three times that this gelding was here. Should be set to stalk the leader.
R3: 3,4,7......Shabalabadingdong-7/2 ML......Post hurt last time out. Draws much better and gets Oosting aboard this time. Oosting wired the field last time on this mare, though against lesser. Should have a good stalking trip here.
R4: 4,7,1......Innocent Victim-5/2 ML......Won first time out with the wire and showed some impressive closing speed. Draws another good post and should be up on the lead again. Should improve over last.
R5: 1,3,7......Summons-6/1 ML......Draws the rail again here. Has won against lesser and didn't fire two back. If this cold can translate his recent Balmoral race to now, should be tough to catch.
R6: 8,6,9......Blueridgevalentino-7/2 ML......Qualifier was decent prep. Has won before at this level. Prefer to be the pack but can display good early speed. Going to need to close as well as the qualifier.
R7: 5,3,4......Rejoiceandbeglad-7/2......Ships back over to Maywood. Did win last time out at lesser level. Steps up in class from that. Should be closing late. Roberts aboard.
R8: 8,9,7......Candy N Apples-8/1 ML......Qualifier was decent. Draws to the outside. Used to very fast fractions so may get a bit of reprieve here with a bit slow at this level.
R9: 6,1,7......I Scoot Sam-5/2 ML......Big drop in class here. Has won at much tougher and now dropped in for the money. Casey Leonard back aboard. Should be coming home late. Mr. Trifecta's Lock of the Night!
R10: 3,7,5......Kiss Me First-9/2 ML......Wired the field two back and nearly did it again last time out before getting caught late. Steps up in class here. Will be out front driving and will try to wire again.
R11: 5,6,1......Sameasiteverwas-8/1 ML......Fired quickly last time out to lead on the 1st turn and held on gamely to show last time against two foes who are in much tougher classes. A similar race to last should put this gelding in good position. Pick-4: 1,5,6,8 w 5,6 w 1,5 w 5,8 - $32
R12: 5,6,2......Jill Is So Pretty-10/1 ML......Steps back up in class after a nice stalking trip win last time out. Oosting jumps aboard which is a good positive. That stalking trip should win here as well if she can replicate. Plenty of late kick here. Mr. Trifecta's Longshot of the Night!
R13: 5,1,2......Finn Jet-8/1 ML......Post position relief here. Doesn't display much early speed, but has been known to show some late kick. Leonard picks this over the 8. Slower fractions, the better here.
R14: 5,8,4......Shady Maple Bullet-8/1 ML......Went 4 wide at the 3Q and didn't fire right away. Did make up nearly 8 lengths down the stretch. A better position and for this gelding to continue on, should be flying late. Mr. Trifecta's Pick of the Night!
