this race has generated a lot of talk on a list i'm on, any comments about it?

This was a race I had picked as 6-9-2 and the result was 2-6 with the 9 4th for a ex of $57.60 . Notes had both the winner and 2nd place horses as having had rough trips week before. With the 2nd place horse having gone a huge mile the week before. Went from far back to get 2nd and look for him to race big this next week. I saw no problem with the race or the payoff.

I am curious what the 'talk' would be focusing on? The races seemed clean, the fractions were reasonable and the prices were very clean..

pat lachance seemed hell bent to get to the front from the rail against only one leaver, papa was right there to close the hole behind him, after the 26 quarter pat could have had no shot, what was he thinking? the horses lines don't exactly say "i must have the front." papa pulled just in time for pat's spent piece to back up the rest of the field. have heard the race is being investigated.

When Luc was there (Lachance's nephew by the way, for those who don't know), this happened every night.

Just goes with the territory.

The winner of the race was 3.5 on the morning line and paid 9 and change to win the second place horse was 6 on the morning line and paid 5 and change to place. Ex return was a very fair $57.60. Can't see where any heavy betting action on the race took place.

Check out Pandolpho's Yahoo group.. They are now talking about the same race..

Apparently, there is RUMOR that Pat lachance is moving.. And more RUMOR that he is moving cause he's being asked to leave, in reference to that race..

I still don't buy it though.
