And, in an unlikely finish, the only two maidens in the race just ran 1/2 in the $50,000 Sprint for c&g. Nice to see Gary Boulanger back. No betting, or that would have been a huge exacta.

Yes, December 11th. I think one was a quarterhorse race, the other for thoroughbreds.

Yep, in a move strangely like what Tampa will likely be doing on July 1st to be able to hold certain rights under state simulcasting law. Not sure if that is why Ocala did it though, as I don't know if they have simo there or how it is even set up.

It's set up as a simulcast venue (TB's, harness, dogs, and Jai Alai). Not sure why they didn't have wagering today, given the gambit of the recent past as the OP mentioned.
