3-horse spill at Gulf

3 horses went down in the 5th at Gulf in what looked like a clipped-heels incident.
Jockeys, Lezcano & Saez hurt. Saez taken in an ambulance. Lezcano was up for awhile then went back down on the turf.
Don't know anything else so far.

Now Fort Larned loses the rider at the break.

But he crushes the field by 1/16th of a mile!

Saez, who was riding well ( #3 in the rider standings) at Gulf, suffered a hairline fracture of the hip & will be out 3 to 5 weeks.
Lezcano had a sprained ankle & was off his mounts today.

Saez is really a wonderful rider but mis-happening can happen with anyone and same with Saez, wish he will get well soon and back to the race.
