***

From time to time it will become necessary for the contest moderators and/or sponsors to communicate important messages to ALL of the contest participants. Creating a specific thread has proven to be the best way to do this, and greatly improves the chances the message will be received by the target audience.

Contest participants are urged to monitor this thread on a regular basis, but not to post here.

Moderators and Sponsors will post to this thread only when necessary.

Thanks,

Chris

The nature of this contest allows for a wide variety of ways to post one's selections. In order to minimum confusion as to the intention of your wagers, it is highly recommended that you:

-- Post your selection(s) under the appropriate thread. Each date will have its' own thread where selections can be posted.

-- Spell out your wagering type. This contest allows WIN, PLACE, and EXACTA. You may further clarify an exacta with generally excepted terms such as EXACTA BOX, EXACTA KEY, and EXACTA KEY BOX, and use "with" where appropriate.

-- List the total cost of the wager after each "ticket" line.

-- Spell out the name of the track, or use the Official designation used by the Daily Racing Form. ADWs and tracks often use a different code on their tickets, and these are NOT to be used when they differ from the official DRF track code.

-- For ease of capturing your selection data, it is preferred that you first list the track name, then race#, then amount, then wagering entity info.
Examples --> GP07 --> $4 Exacta 8 with 1,3,4 ($12)
Aqu09 --> $10 Win/Place #6 ($20)
Grand Total = $32

-- Optional: Listing the name of the horse is optional and not required, and is probably not practical when exotic wagers are involved. If you do decide to list the horse's name, and it is not associated with the saddle cloth number you list, the horse's name shall take precedence.

Thanks!

Hello everyone,

It has come to our attention that a number of new players have experienced difficulty in trying to Register and gain access to the PaceAdvantage website.

Until this problem is resolved, we will be allowing them to post their contest selections on the PaceandCap website, and Ted Craven will be copying them over into the appropriate PaceAdvantage thread.

Remember too that until they can successfully Register, they will not have the ability to acknowledge the contest rules by voting "yes" under the listed poll.

As a gentle reminder, some players need to be aware that they are very close to disqualifying themselves from eligibility for prizes and awards.

Remember that:
-- Players must make selections in EXACTLY 30 races. No more, no less.
-- Within those 30 races, a minimum of 8 must come from the list of 12 designated "prep" races.

This dictates that one can not play more than 22 optional races, or else you will make yourself ineligible, and thus not be able compete any longer for ANY contest of the prizes and awards.

As a courtesy to the other players, and to avoid unnecessary work for your scorekeeper, players who become ineligible will be removed from the main body of the standings, and listed at the bottom for reference.

Hello everyone,

Remember that unlike all other days where participants can choose various races throughout the day, the RDSS Bankroll Builder contest will END on Saturday (04/20) with the running of the Lexington Stakes at Keeneland.

Players will not be able to use and count selections on races which go off AFTER the Lexington.

When trying to make your count of exactly 30 races, don't automatically disqualify yourself from prize and award consideration by trying to use a race that goes off after the Lexington Stakes.

Good luck to everyone on the final day. :)
