Bit of a delay for a loose horse and a late scratch, but "Goof" raced pretty well i thought for a firster....he made a nice middle move and got into contention turning for home and then went even to the wire, learning all the way. The 6.5 Hill race is a really tough race to make a first lifetime start, but Goofy handled it well, hopefully this tightens him up for next time. Nice looking horse with a good stride.
