Transparent (a wise guy horse, self included) seemed to be all primed to win the race...but, then, not having lasix might have been his undoing. FTL next time? That effort was too bad to be true, that's a good horse.

I dont know, Serling picked the horse for 2nd ahead of the favorite...so, he saw the same thing i saw.

I take into consideration that lightly raced horses might have the 'light' go on at some point. I watched his video 4 back where he was in traffic and finished up well and lost by only 4 lengths to Orb. I watched his last effort where he got carried 15 wide on the first turn/ backstretch by a bolting horse and won by open lengths while powering away. He's a great looking Bernardini who has upside and was 3rd time Blinkers, i just wish he had lasix, he was in position to win and just 'bled' or something, he's better than he showed today.

He's not a superstar, but he's a nicely bred horse who is lightly raced, added blinkers recently and those shades have him more focused, sometimes the light just switches on with some of these horses.

I should have said maybe in my last post instead of so matter of factly.Looking at him yesterday that was my thought,he could go early or late but probably not both.You're right,the pedigree is there,and he might just be a late bloomer looking for distance.He did get banged up a little twice in the race.TBC!
