Can do nothing but improve from yesterday's card!
R1: 2,7,8......Performing Nightly-10/1 ML......2nd try off the layoff. Last time out did fairly well from the layoff and hung around on the rail. Draws the 2 hole here and expecting more from Sutton this time around. Need a big price here for the 0/19 gelding.
R2: 4,7,5......Twilight Delight-7/2 ML......Improving steadily as she has been at this level. 4th try here. Should be up stalking the lead. Very wide open race and Sutton will have his hands full.
R3: 2,1,5......Valley Cam-3/1 ML......Stalked well against a bit tougher. Drops a touch in class and draws the two hole. Should be in a pocket trip after the 1 here and should strike well.
R4: 6,7,8......Gypsy Leather-4/1 ML......Has gone three wide in the last two to get around traffic. If he can get a touch closer earlier and not get stuck behind dead horses, should be live down the stretch.
R5: 3,4,2......Mack Brenlin-2/1 ML......Last time out chased a runaway winner. Much better then it looks on the past performance. Won two back and draws a good 3 hole here. Should be stalking once again.
R6: 3,6,4......Stryker-9/2 ML......Oosting back aboard will be a boon. Has won last two with this gelding. Likes to make a late move. Very tough opponent in the 6 here. Should be sitting just behind him.
R7: 1,3,6......Stylish Rocket-8/1 ML......Costly break down the stretch last time out and 2nd off the drop in class here. Had he cashed that raced, could have been the ML favorite as the 3 is. Great value on the rail with Sutton staying aboard. Mr. Trifecta's Pick of the Night!
R8: 7,2,3......Topville Bridgette-6/1 ML......Wide open and a great betting race. Taking Oosting on the outside. 1st time up inc class cashed. Now is on the outside. Does have the speed to get over quickly, but whether she has enough in the tank down the stretch is something different. Need a price.
R9: 5,1,3......Bold Raider-8/1 ML......1 will be tough to beat here. Ships back over from Balmoral. Back in December off the ship, destroyed the field. Looking for the same. Todd Warren is aboard. This horse loves to close and should be doing so here with alot of upfront speed.
R10: 5,6,1......Shaska-9/2 ML......Scored well with this gelding before and looking for him again to make some cash. Leonard stays aboard. Draws the honey pot of a five whole here. Lots of early speed with this gelding. Needs to be out front to do his damage.
R11: 5,7,4......Raging Cam-5/2 ML......Wired the field against lesser. Jumps back up in class against the big boys. Draws the same post and Oosting stays aboard. Should try for the wire here. Pick-4: 4,5,7 w 3,6,9 w 1,6 w 3,5 - $36
R12: 9,3,6......Makena Cat-8/1 ML......Draws to the far outside which is usually a hindrance at Maywood. Magee still aboard. Can flash good early speed or close up late. I expect more of the later here. Draws a bit of a weaker field then last time out. Needs a good trip, but has a shot at a big price.
R13: 6,1,2......On The Green-5/2 ML......Closed like a freight train off the ship. Draws a bit closer and switches over to Maywood. Will need that late kick here. Husted aboard for Roberts.
R14: 3,5,8......Fox Valley Hotstuf-10/1 ML......Driver change to Magee here is big. Cash three back and lost by a neck. Draws the 3 hole here. Needs to be just off the lead. A slower pace would help, but may not get it here. Mr. Trifecta's Longshot of the Night!
