From a betting standpoint, it would be good if they kept trying to push him on the Derby trail so that he can eat up money. But I don't believe he has a chance at all in the Kentucky Derby should he make it.
The big tipoff that this was slow horse was in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile when he had dead aim on Shanghai Bobby and couldn't get by him. It did not even matter to me if Shanghai Bobby was playing around or tired, I just knew the fact that He's Had Enough having a clear shot and hanging was bad.
If there was ever a horse with an ironic name, it is this one.

I agree with you about his chances for the Derby.
In regards to the BC Juvenile, he had an awful trip that day and ran a heck of a race IMO.

I agree, i've had enough too. Used him with Violence and Orb, he finished ok at the end but it was non threatening. I though that the fountain of youth field was weak and it was....but hes had enough already.....

seems like he makes a move at the end but then he just runs with the pack? no killer instinct.

I gave He's Had Enough almost the same exact performance as the 3rd place finisher Speak Logistics in the FOY.
Neither horse contended, both came from the same general position off the pace.
From post 8 = He's Had Enough lost 2 or 3 more lengths of ground than Speak Logistics(post7) over the course of the race.
Speak Logistics also gets a tiny bit of credit (in spite of the better post) for being tactical enough to work a better trip and physically finish 3rd. Speak Logistics broke closer to the pace, also moved with Orb for a short while early on the backstretch.
He can only contend for minor awards at best in the triple crown preps, and if they drop him where he can win, he'll be bet on his name alone.
He may have had a better chance at a top-3 finish in the Risen Star with his plodding style and the ground loss he had in the FOY. Debatable.
