AQU 2/23 Sealed?

With the impending rain, have they sealed the track? Does anybody know?

I am not even sure what 'sealed' actually means, are you?

I thought it was flattening boards (like screening cement) used to make surface smooth, whick allows rain to drain towards rail (slope) easier. This compared to the harrowed or cultivated type surface.

They just pack down the track so the water doesnt get 'in there' and just rolls off the top. Than, when it stops raining, they cut the track up and let it 'breathe'.

This is not an answer to your question just an observation of the track today. It looks like as horses get into the stretch they all hit some sort of wall, take a breath and then start running again. Don't know if it is the weather affecting the track, the horses or me seeing something that isn't there. Just looked odd for a few races that's all.
