A bit chalky tonight, but you never know!

R1: 5,3,8......Master John Deer-5/1 ML......Despite breaking on the stretch. Managed to pull out a victory. Now gets Tyler Smith aboard which should be an improvement. Not much in this race. Mr. Trifecta's Longshot of the Night!

R2: 6,3,5......Andy Aces-5/2 ML......Won last time out. Loves to come off the pace and close down the stretch. With racing room, should be there at the end.

R3: 2,1,4......Jarmoto-7/2 ML......Flashed some early speed before tiring down the stretch. I think that similar move here could be a winning one as there isn't much in the way of early speed. May get nice garden trip behind the 1 here.

R4: 6,9,7......Forturne James-7/2 ML......Broke last time at the wire after closing. Draws a bit more to the outside which should be a benefit as it looks like this gelding likes to close or at least gets in contention doing it. Not much in the race.

R5: 1,2,3......Konjo N-5/2 ML......Chalky race. Will be tough to beat on the rail with Wrenn Jr. who loves to be upfront with the speed.

R6: 1,3,4......Goodnite Wilbur-7/2 ML......Cashed last two. Likes to close up down the stretch or can get out quick. Some early speed to the outside of this gelding. Looking for live cover to follow and could close well down the stretch.

R7: 7,3,8......Sand Hickory-4/1 ML......First time out showed well and closed nicely last year. Qualifier was good and looking for an improvement on that. Worth a shot.

R8: 3,6,8......Chip's Dreamer-5/2 ML......Pulled away at the 2Q and never relinquished. Dropping to easier here and Merriman sticking aboard. Should be on the front and tough.

R9: 4,6,8......Formula T-5/2 ML......Ran out of gas down the stretch. Pace was a touch too fast for this gelding last time out. Gets same hole and a little slower and should have enough in the tank.

R10: 3,4,7......Blueridge Astaire-9/2 ML......Brok last time down the stretch and tossing last. Destroyed tougher levels two back and Miller is back aboard who did that effort. Should be making a nice 3Q move. Mr. Trifecta's Pick of the Night!

R11: 1,5,2......Shawanda-5/2 ML......1st time lasix is going to help here along with the post relief. Smith sticking aboard and should be the one to catch. Prefers to stalk and may get a nice trip behind the 2 if that gelding goes to the front.

R12: 1,8,5......SS Black Night-5/2 ML......Battle of the terrible horses and I will go with the rail here. Effort wasn't too bad last time out. Not super confident in this one as they are all not that good.

R13: 1,2,7......Polo Joe-3/1 ML......Page sticks around this time. I would was post position hurt last time out and draws the rail. Did well three back on this gelding for his first cash this season. Not a ton in this race, but does have that lucrative rail.
