New track tonight! Let's give it a go!
R1: 4,3,7......Barbazon-8/1 ML......Wired the field last time out against lesser. Big step up in class here. Will need to run just like last time to have a shot here. Should get a good price against tougher.
R2: 5,4,1......CC Dreamer-8/1 ML......Won two back. Minor step up in class here. Loves to came from way back. Stiff competition and needs a good trip to have a shot. Will make that 3/4 move. Good value here. Mr. Trifecta's Pick of the Night!
R3: 5,4,2......Action SJ-7/2 ML......Second off the ship with Page aboard. Made a 3 wide bid, but didn't advance and had the opportunity there. Should be much better adjusted for the 2nd time on the track.
R4: 4,3,8......Thunder Rises-5/2 ML......Ran out of gas two back. Drops down to the lowest level having won here before. Look for this gelding to get to the front.
R5: 6,5,8......A Little Crazy-7/2 ML......Cash last two of three at this level. Draws a bit to the outside, but does show some nice early speed. May have some competition to the inside for the speed, but could take in the live cover. Merriman sticks aboard.
R6: 5,9,2......Lined With Cash-4/1 ML......Hung around last time for third. Drops in class to NW2 and should be easy picking compared to last. Merriman jumps board with this horse.
R7: 6,1,9......Mainline Hall-10/1 ML......Stepping up in class with Merriman back aboard. Cashed last 4 of 6 with a victory in there. Should be up close towards the pace. Can flash some very nice early speed and will need to do so here to have a shot.
R8: 2,9,3......Panskrit-5/2 ML......Cashed last three and won impressively two back with Merriman onboard. Guess who is back in the sulky? Mr. Trifecta's Lock of the Night!
R9: 2,1,3......State of the Union-4/1 ML......Wide open here. Won last two of three. Draws to the outside of the main competition. Anyone's guess here.
R10: 1,9,7......Rounding Third-4/1 ML......Just missed last time out, steps up in class and draws the rail which could mean good things. Loves to be on the lead and has the post for it.
R11: 4,9,8......Osborne's Yankee-7/2 ML......Cashed last three with a victory three back against lesser. Just missed two back at this level with a fast opening quarter and was too far back from where this gelding likes to be. Stahl still onboard and should be closing late with early speed to the outside.
R12: 3,6,8......Onemorelap-9/2 ML......Perfect setup, but just didn't make any headway down the stretch. Drive change to Wengerd looking to mix it up at this level. Third try here maybe fruitful.
R13: 4,9,6......Eagle Jacob-15/1 ML......Interesting that this gelding is dropping down after throttling up at much tougher NW600. Drops back to easier class and Smith stays aboard. Probably won't get 15/1, but heck, worth the try. Mr. Trifecta's Longshot of the Night!
R14: 3,2,6......Gerries Beach-4/1 ML......Page has driven this gelding twice with not much luck. Stays aboard with a decent post here. Can display a bit of closing speed, and should hang out with the pack to have a shot.
