Let's see if I can make it back to back Pick 4's!
R1: 2,7,8......George's Ztam-8/5 ML......Loves to be on the front and never lets go. Has won last three of four at this level and knows how to get it done. Inside draw should make this a cinch. Mr. Trifecta's Lock of the Night!
R2: 5,4,8......I Reckon So-4/1 ML......1st time lasix could be key here. Showed a nice bid for first at the stretch call before giving away. Needed first race and gets another try. The #4 will be the one to catch.
R3: 5,6,3......Somecam-5/2 ML......Shipping over from Balmoral. Wired the field and set some fast fractions doing it on a good track. Fast track tonight could provide even better. If can get similar fractions, may just simply wire the field again.
R4: 1,2,7......Prime Escape-5/2 ML......Big drop in class here and should figure well. Hasn't done much this year so far, but Carpenter is sticking aboard. Does best stalking the leader and should close nicely. Draws the rail so will need to decide where he wants to sit.
R5: 2,5,4......Hoosier Art-6/1 ML......Got close the last two, just getting bobbed at the wire. Loves to be on the early lead and draws a nice post to boot. Looks to be a winner here.
R6: 2,7,6......Zeller's Island-9/2 ML......Driver change to Oosting is big here. Looks like a private sale as well. Drawing the two hole here, going to need to ask alot off the long layoff, but I have confidence Oosting will get there late.
R7: 8,3,2......Polar Bear-4/1 ML......#3 will be quite overbet here but I think Polar Bear and driver change to Dean Magee can get it done. Very consistent int he last four. Drop in class helps out alot here. Should get over quick and hopefully behind the #3. Could get a nice trip, just needs a good early spot.
R8: 2,5,6......Huggy Bear-6/1 ML......Qualifier was very nice even if it was only against one horse. Draws a nice inside post from coming off the layoff. Sutton steps in the sulky and could get some nice value. A hunch play if you will.
R9: 8,3,5......Weekend Update-5/2 ML......When this mare comes to Maywood, it comes to win. Won last two of three times here when shipped over. Doesn't matter post much to this mare. Likes to be close to be on or close to the lead. Should be a heated contest upfront.
R10: 2,3,9......Con Game-8/1 ML......2nd off the claim could be nice here. Roberts cashed last time. Prior Oosting smoked with this gelding against 8000 claimers. The three wide move costed him too much. A better trip maybe instore and hopefully at a nice price.
R11: 6,5,3......Onhishonor Hanover-5/2 ML......Cashed last three at this level and always seems to come up short. Draws to the outside which maybe a boon as the other early speed is to the inside. Pick 4: 3,5,6 w 2,3,5,6 w 2,5,9 w 2 - $36
R12: 3,5,6......Looking For Jack-8/1 ML......Love the last race, went three wide to take the lead and never looked back. Closing is a good thing as there is a ton of early speed here. Magee will play this coy. Mr. Trifecta's Longshot of the Night!
R13: 2,5,9......Shabalabadingdong-7/2 ML......Perfect cover drive by Miller. Oosting picks this one over the post time favorite. Oosting should improve a few 5ths even on Miller's time.
R14: 2,4,1......My Dream Mara-8/1 ML......Wired the field last time. Draws the 2 hole and should be out infront again. Looks to be a lone speed type here and just needs to leave enough in the tank for the stretch. Mr. Trifecta's Pick of the Night!
