A jock was off his horse early on and then coming down the stretch the announcer starts yelling, "Pull up, pull up this has been declared a no start" or something like that. I was kind of freaked out and then you see the loose horse running the wrong way down the stretch. I've never seen that before. The race has been declared no contest.

Yeah was just watching. Strange thing happen in racing. Was a scary sight seeing that horse. Dangerous.

I don't ever recall a track announcer yelling at the jockeys like that.

Reminds me a little of the "man on the track" race at Del Mar years ago.

Track announcer did it twice tonight. In 2nd or 3rd I think, a loose horse was running in the stretch and he was saying for jockeys to look out after they hit the wire.

This happened at SA in a race recently, i don't remember which race though, horse running the wrong way, jocks pulled up and declared no contest.
