R1: 6,7,8......Alequash Hotspur-6/1 ML......Has been impressive all three times out. First time start showed a very nice last quarter. This gelding also has won the last two. Gets a nice post and should be gobbling up the ground late. Mr. Trifecta's Pick of the Night!
R2: 4,10,7......Maple Grove Ryann-9/2 ML......3 wide move didn't work out so well last time on the 3/4. Gets improve post and should be in a better position. 5th lifetime start and hasn't quite settled in yet. Leonard gives her another try. Has no early speed, but anything of consequence is to the far outside. Slow fractions that should occur could give this mare a shot.
R3: 2,8,4......Hollywood Hustler-15/1 ML......Shipping in with Short aboard. Cashed last two and likes to be out in the lead. This race is fairly wide open as there isn't much here. Fast early fractions could put the field away as there isn't much in the way of steady closers here. Mr. Trifecta's Longshot of the Night!
R4: 5,7,3......Fox Valley Lilca-6/1 ML......Nearly weekly levels of similar competition as she has faced this competition all too many times, but with mixed results. Won two back. Leonard needs to get this mare out to the front or just behind. Has a good post to do it here, but all depends if that cover is live. If she isn't out front by the 1/2 pole, then she probably won't make it.
R5: 1,8,7......Slippin Away-12/1 ML......Another bomber for a pick here. Big thing to see here is the big drop in class. Cashed last three at this level with a victory. Two of the cashed with Roberts who is back aboard here. That win was also on the rail. Should be on the lead as I expect Big Zipper to fly over which should be good cover. I will take my chances here.
R6: 9,7,8......Ants Iner Pants-8/1 ML......Celebrity Hercules will be down to nothing, with a strong shot of winning, but I am going with the front runner from the outside. Won last two of three. Last time out, ran out of gas down the stretch. I think with a little slower pace, could have a shot to wire the field once more. Should get a decent price.
R7: 4,5,3......Becky B Skipalong-6/1 ML......Won last time out against non claimers and has bounced back into claimers here. Cashed last three of four. Nice last quarter two back. Should be two or three back to have a shot. Pick 4: 3,4,5 w 9 w 3,4 w 3,5,8 - $18
R8: 9,5,1......Anthonyskywalker-5/2 ML......Nearly wired the field last time out before giving away. Draws to the outside, but shouldn't be an issue. Has cashed in far tougher and coming back from injury. 2nd off the layoff should be a winner.
R9: 4,3,5......Darn Shocking-5/2 ML......Cashed last three. Closed nicely but was in no contention against the winner last time out. Draws well on post. Looking to take that next step in this class level and has a shot here.
R10: 8,3,5......Lucky NZ-8/1 ML......Won multiples times at this level and this post. Cashed last two under Widger and draws the outside. Can flash some very quick speed in a short amount of time and can close nicely. Love the price here.
