Five minutes in, three minutes of gratuitous applause at the end of every paragraph... and nothing has been said...

When does he start singing Cat Scratch Fever?

He sounds like he's in full campaign mode. I've seen enough already.

Ted is hiding up in the audience, most likely.
His hands are not red raw from applauding, either...... ;)

Why bother tuning in at all?
He is lying every time he opens his mouth.
I can sum it all up for you.......

"I, uh, uh, I, umm, uh, I inherited this."
"It was, uh, Bush's fault."

Actions speak louder than word - this idiot is a loser.

I know the look of a guy yearning for a cigarette... poor Boehner...

Tom

I wonder if there is a barf bag in front oh Boehner?
Does Biden look stoned?

Ironically, I swear I just heard Obama announce that he was going to singlehandedly push the promotion of natural grass...

Now, Now, Tom, I believe that the "politically correct" description of this particular POTUS should acceptably be labelled " Presidentially Challenged "...

:D Good one!

The real good news, more green energy investments.
We did so well with Solyndra.

There's hockey on. I'm tuned elsewhere.

Did he mention his stickhandling around Benghazi, the lives lost, or did he just repeat "The State of the Union in America will always be strong" while owing over $1 Trillion to China and they're surpassing the U.S. in trade?

Any mention of the legacy he's leaving all of those young people who fawn over him about the debt that they'll be mired in?

Back to hockey.

When does Gary Johnson get to make his speech?

Rubio is actually doing pretty good!

Rubio giving the rebuttal.
Seems like a good guy, but he's saddled with Rush's backing. Poor fellow.

I love Rush Limbaugh, though.
Best thing that ever happened to Democrats.
Anyone who chooses a theme song for his show that was written to protest pollution and development in Ohio, views which he opposes strongly, shows right off the bat what an ass he is.

Rubio's speech could have given by Herbert Hoover. That is trouble with the GOP. It is stuck in 1928.

Every time I flip to FOX they are talking about the Bing Pulse. Sounds like a porn shop in 1980's NYC.

Bing Pulse never showed a positive reaction. Best was -11.

If so Robert Goren, have you considered that the nation might be heading for 1929 under Obama?

Just noticing that if Chris Hayes loses about thirty pounds he will be indistinguishable from Mz. Maddow, who is giddy over John McCain's hatred for Obama mentioning his name.

For lsbets, elysiantraveller, Bigmack, Detective Goren, and the rest the fans:

February 12, 2013, Santa Fe, NM – Former New Mexico Governor and Chairman of the Our America Initiative Gary Johnson released the following statement in response the President Obama’s State of the Union address:

“What we didn’t hear tonight was a President telling the truth about the real state of the Union: that we are broke — and that he and the Congress are succeeding only in digging us deeper into a financial hole that is, in reality, the single greatest threat to the nation’s well-being.

“Rather, we once again heard the tired argument that the challenges we face can somehow best be met by more government that costs more and taxes more. We’ve tried that. In fact, we’ve tried it so hard and so long that we have a debt totaling more than $90,000 for every worker in America.

“And while he spent an hour laying out a mind-boggling list of things the government should do, from ‘investing’ in infrastructure, technology and energy to helping parents pick the best college for their kids, he assured us his plans will not increase the deficit by ‘a single dime’.

“That is absurd on its face, and could only be based on the same arithmetic that has given us a $16 Trillion debt.

“Once again, we witnessed a great political performance wrapped around promises that shouldn’t be made in the first place, and that we certainly cannot afford to keep.”

It's known as "having a clue", James.
Then again, that would be news to you, would it not?

The new "water-gate". How ridiculous. If there was ever any evidence needed that liberals are all about style and nothing about substance, this was it.

You will notice, he only uses the musical portion, not the commie-lib lyrics.
Style over substance......the liberal mantra.:lol::lol:

What is funny is that with all the stupid stuff that Obama came up with last night, THIS is what he thinks about!

Sad, really.
Explains the decline in every arena since Obama soiled the White House.

"The State of the Union in America will always be strong" while owing over $1 Trillion to China and they're surpassing the U.S. in trade?
I solved the "China Problem" last night. After 15 or 20 minutes of hearing him keep saying that we need more Socialism, I had enough, and decided to go out to my favorite Chinese takeout restaurant and bring something back. Left the TV on by accident, and assumed that he would be done when I returned. When I came through the door with my food, to my horror, he was still babbling. Not to worry, I had returned home just seconds before the best part came; he said goodnight and left.:jump: Chow mein had trumped the Chump, and settled down to enjoy my meal and listen to Senator Rubio.
