She has written a few articles for magazines and given some interviews that were pretty strange.

She is roundly hated by many in the racing community. The way she acted the last time her husband won the Indy 500 is probably one reason they fell apart.

She was criticized in many publications and rumors that she would be banned from pit row this year were already out there.

Her family is a mess, she is known as a Diva and some of her off the cuff remarks are being qued up and compiled in campaign video vaults everywhere. She could win the damn thing though. Stranger things have happen.

I have had the occasion to spend some time talking with her, and while I don't agree with all of her politics, she is an engaging, witty, interesting person, and very gracious as well. She may too good for politics, or maybe it will ruin her.

I haven't read any of her writings, but I can tell you why she is "a mess". Her father is a complete loose horse with little to no redeeming qualities.

Realistically, I doubt if she runs. She has too much baggage to carry for a democrat in a red state.
