One of the biggest sports days of the year. Right up there with Derby Day. Breeders Cup day. Belmont Day. Preakness Day. Arlington Million Day. Met Mile Day. BC Preview Day. Blue Grass Day. Baseball opening Day. NFL Opening Sunday. The Final Four.
Come to think of it, its just another football game.

I don't really have an opinion on game. Don't care for either team. I'll just throw something out there.
Ravens 31
49rs 27

I like the 49ers, too.
They step up against good teams, and came so close to beating a good NYG team last year. Beating GB twice this year, going to NE and outplaying them completely until late in the game. This is a good football team, and I don't think that Baltimore is quite up to them.
Ravens are playing well, though.
It wouldn't be the biggest shock in the world to see them give the 49ers a tight game, but it would surprise me.
49ers 34-16

Baltimore had something for Peyton
Baltimore had something for Brady
and Baltimore's got something for Kap.
No way this game gets outta hand, and those who think Gore is just gonna run wild are wrong.
I am looking forward to a heavyweight brawl...this is the irresistable force vs. the irresistable force.
Someone gonna hit someone else so hard tonight that it may upset the space time continuum (for you Star Trek fans)...ya know?

have a feeling it will be a close game, probably somewhat low scoring.
under 47.5 ?
49ers would love to use Kaepernick as a decoy, and run Gore 25 times up the middle. Haloti Ngata and Keomatu(sp?) have a chance to upset that.
I'm not that high on the Ravens offense either.

I like the Under (some places have it @ 48 or 48.5). I also like the 49ers @ -4.

As usual, the public is pounding the OVER on almost all the player props. Big time minus money lines on the majority of props.

I thought the NFC was tougher this year and I picked the 49ers earlier in the week on my handicappingwinners web site when the spread dropped to 3.5. Now the spread is 4 but I still like the 49ers.
I've picked the Super Bowl correctly against the spread 9 of the last 11 years on my website. This year and last year I gave out my NFL best bets every week for the first time and showed a profit both years. My record in the playoffs the past two years is 13-5 (72%).

Ravens and under in what should be a close brawl.
49ers by 10
But the BIG story here is the anticipated battle of the two bothers.
Which one wants it more? Both great strategists.
Should be a great battle......who will get the most wings, Eli or Payton?

I'm taking the Niners!
I'm tired of the "Ray Lewis" show. Great player yes but the act has grown old for me.
Oh, honey...............when will the wings and skins be ready? :jump:

big drive here.
49ers have to keep their cool. Can't get 11 points on 1 play. Re-establish the offense, and get a score before half, and they are in good shape.

You wonder anymore whether they're really singing. The same should be done to high paid entertainers that cheat as high paid sports figures that cheat and get caught.
Maybe she'll fall on her ass, at least we'll know that's real.

that was a great call by the Ravens not going for the field goal. even though they didn't quite make it, they pinned the 49'rs way back.

yea it was.
And a TD there maybe wins the game.
49ers should have run Kaepernick with that field position.
Ravens can get another score before half.

need to go to Kaep from the pistol formation.
Especially in the Red Zone.
not sure what the heck that 2pt play from shotgun was even meant to do......
However, pretty hard to criticize coaching when the game has been such a whirlwind of momentum swings.

very sloppy in the red zone again.
thought that would be a strength not a weakness.

great game, they both gave their very best. of course i was wrong as usual, but it certainly was an outstanding coached game from both sides. the Ravens played with a ton of heart, they could have easily have been knocked out, but refused to go down.
