Agree wholeheartedly. One of my earliest memories, probably around 1947, is that of boarding am overnight train for Maine with my mom to visit my many aunts and uncles in Lewiston. Hard to believe they wanted to tear it down years ago; believe Jackie Kennedy was instrumental in saving it.
