Mott, at Gulfstream, seems to be using the same jockey exclusively. His name is Cristian Demuro; he is not an apprentice; he has only 5 mounts in this country in 2012/2013 and all 5 have come this year at Gulfstream; he has 1 win.
Does anyone know who he is; why Mott is using him; etc ??

Mott did this once before back in 1995.. Italian Jockey Edmondo Botti rode for him at Gulfstream and won a couple races.

He is the younger brother of Mirco Demuro.
The Botti family that Kiri'sClown mentions is prominent in Italy.
Gotta believe Edmondo is related somehow...
Stefano Botti won the training title and set a record for most wins, breaking the previous record; held by two men...Alduino and Giuseppe Botti...his father and uncle.
He also has a brother Marco Botti who trains in England, i believe.

Demuro rode a nice race here to win on a Mott overlay paying $25.
$213 exacta to a horse live on the board, also...... :)
He's okay by me........

The power of the key race; some of those who finished behind Formative back on 9/4/11 were graded stakes winner Lady of Shamrock and stakes placed Goldrush Girl. The 3rd place runner from the race, Karlovy Vary, is also a graded stakes winner.
