The best way to get a 5-1 shot is to borrow 100k and bet it to win first flash on the best looking 8-5 ML horse you can find...than, with 1 millisecond to post, cancel 99, 800 of the bet and leave 200 to win. You'll probably get close to 5-1 and a lot of chairs thru windows at the track! :D

switch to sports and bet the 49'rs this sunday minus 17 1/2 points and get your 5-1 that way

I would take a second time starter, 5.5f to 7.5f with a workout < 7days at 48 or less, preferably 6.5f against a field of where each runner had 5 or more starts, regardless of how bad the first outing was.
