No ADA in the country would touch that one. What is more than interesting is the fact the man burns more fossil fuel in transportation in one month than the average family burns in one year. And in the summer time his boat alone burns more gas than anyone would believe. This is a man who does not practice what he preaches and should be viewed to not be reputable.

Al Gore is a fat socialist. Maybe we can persecute him for that and prosecute him for lying about his weight

Either way, why would we ever trust a fat man unless he is named Russ?

No ADA in the country would touch that one.

Prosecution must cite, chapter and verse, which law was broken and the specifics of the charge.
Defense will claim first amendment rights.
The judge would throw it out of court. Most judges have an overcrowded docket anyway and they don't need this.
You'd have to find twelve jurors with no opinion on global warming one way of the other.
Prosecution has the burden of proving that global warming is a hoax. Get ready for weeks, if not months, of testimony from expert witnesses.
Prosecution must prove that Gore originated the "hoax" and is not one of the hoaxed.
Defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty and receives the benefit of all doubt.

Ever hear of the Scopes monkey trial?

The Bullwinkle Show had an episode with a hat called The Kerwood Derby. A TV personality named Durward Kirby threatened to sue the producers. Their response was "Please do sue us. We need the publicity."

Al Gore has made millions off this hoax! All other studies show just the opposite. Generally a peer review is done. At this point until the results of this study is reviewed thinking about fraud is only applicable to the fossil fuel organizations that finance GW Denial.

The original paper referenced by Bloomberg said this ......

Internationally renowned climate researcher Caroline Leck of Stockholm University has evaluated the Norwegian project and is enthusiastic.

“These results are truly sensational,” says Dr Leck. “If confirmed by other studies, this could have far-reaching impacts on efforts to achieve the political targets for climate.

It doesn't have a damned thing to do with any thing. It was just another criticism levied at Gore simply to muddy his character. Sometimes I like to reference stupid stuff the right uses as proof of whatever they want, and then abruptly move on to some other bullshit, totally forgetting their previous crap.

Pretty much like what the left does to Rush Limbaugh? Or what they did to Sarah Palin or Dick Cheney or W. with the eager left wing media (and "news outlets" like the Daily Show) leading the charge? Some of you actually believed that Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from her front yard, that Dick Cheney was really Darth Vader and that W. convinced the Army Corps of Engineers to plant dynamite in the New Orleans levees.

The basis for the line was Governor Palin's 11 September 2008 appearance on ABC News, her first major interview after being tapped as the vice-presidential nominee. During that appearance, interviewer Charles Gibson asked her what insight she had gained from living so close to Russia, and she responded: "They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska"Oh Golly gee whillerkers!!

A great foreign policy insight showing her worthiness to be a heartbeat away for being Pres   :

The media in the US (both sides) is despicable. It has gotten to the point where I don't believe a single thing reported on the news about anything.

If I haven't been involved with the issue myself and seen what's going on (which naturally is going to be rare), I have few strong opinions. I just ignore the news.

Why would I want I to believe a bunch of liars, incompetents, borderline traitors, and other people whose goal is to ram their own personal values down everyone else's throat instead of reporting actual facts and allowing people to decide for themselves?

They are horrid.

Hey hcRap, you may want to see this: http://www.snopes.com/politics/palin/seealaska.asp

And pay close attention to the following paragraphs:
Henceforth, invocations of Sarah Palin frequently employed the line "I can see Russia from my house," rather than the words she actually spoke, "You can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska."

As to the question of whether one can actually see Russia from Alaska, Governor Palin was correct: such a view is possible from more than one place in Alaska. A Slate article on the topic noted that:
In the middle of the Bering Strait are two small, sparsely populated islands: Big Diomede, which sits in Russian territory, and Little Diomede, which is part of the United States. At their closest, these two islands are a little less than two and a half miles apart, which means that, on a clear day, you can definitely see one from the other.
Also, a 1988 New York Times article reported that:
To the Russian mainland from St. Lawrence Island, a bleak ice-bound expanse the size of Long Island out in the middle of the Bering Sea, the distance is 37 miles. From high ground there or from the Air Force facility at Tin City atop Cape Prince of Wales, the westernmost edge of mainland North America, on a clear day you can see Siberia with the naked eye.

Mike, I guess I gotta spell it out for you, the lack of depth that Palin showed was simply not that she was wrong about what could be seen physically, but what she didn't see GEO POLITICALLY. A future VP should have some sense of the long history of serious interaction between the US and Russia, and project something meaningful into the conversation. Palin came across as a high school kid cramming for a test, just like she did about the Bush Doctrine. Actually if you saw the movie Game Change, that is exactly what she did. Crammed

Palin never send tanks and fighters to the Muslim Brotherhood.

It certainly hasn't worked in your case.

The Norwegian study predicts with 90% probability a temperature rise between 1.2°C and 2.9°C resulting from a doubling of CO2 concentration over the 1750 (pre-industrial revolution) level. The IPCC projections are based on six scenarios, four of which predict a best estimate temperature change of 2.8°C or less, all smaller than the high end of the Norwegian prediction. Only the two IPCC most extreme cases predict a higher global temperature than the Norwegians do.

In addition, the Norwegian project leader, Terje Berntsen, is a staunch supporter of the idea that global warming is largely man made. A main point of the paper is that the Norwegian prediction is based on observed natural fluctuations in the climate system (e.g., volcanic activity and solar activity) that occurred during the decade of the 2000s, implying that the decade of the 2010s and beyond could further alter the predictions - up or down - but the trend is always higher as long as atmospheric CO2 concentrations increase.

Finally, the data cited in the paper has not been verified independently and the paper itself has not yet been peer reviewed. Buy hey, the loonies on the far right such as yourself don't need verification or review. They don't even need science. Sound bites in the MSM are all the proof they require.

The paper has nothing to do with the reality of global warming or if it is man made. It's kind of like trying to determine whether George W. Bush supplied his friends with grams or ounces of drugs when he lived in the River Oaks section of Houston after leaving Yale.
