Hello All! For Sunday, a good size list of races on Slew's mind:
Aqueduct - 1,4,5,8
Gulfstream - 2,4,6,8,10,11
Santa Anita - 2,3,5,7,8
Tampa - 2,6,7
Fairgrounds - 9
Parx - 5
Oaklawn - 1,5
Today's key horses had mixed reviews. Orb won at Gulfstream Park while Draw Two was a scratch. We'll watch for his next start. Madame Giry looked to be in
good shape as she took aim on the leader in the Lighting City Stakes at Tampa but was 5th in a blanket finish. We watch her closely now as she may have hit the
equine glass ceiling.
Tomorrow (Sunday) sees one of the horses in my Gulfstream Park review run in a MSW. Tanzspeil(Ire) tries to get Rodger Attfield his first win of the meet at
Gulfstream Park. Lasix is being added for her second start and she will break from the inside post next to the ML favorite Tokyo Time. Rosario takes over for J.R.
who jumps to a 12-1 ML starter for Michelle Nihei. At 4-1 I will drop a few bucks on the Irish bred and hope she is ready and that J.R had a previous commitment.
