Jim Benes has unofficially won NHC 14 by a razor thin $1.20 margin.

Close for Roger Cettina who has been in quite a few of these and is often prominent in these contests. He was passed in the last race by the winner's horse Hidethegoodstuff who was second and paid $3.60 to place. I know at the end of day one PA member Cato was doing well, hope he had a good finish today.

If I had a big lead, yes I would play more conservative. You still have to pick winners.
