Like the cat in the Schrödinger Box it's just a question of time.

I love these "flying squirrel" suits. Invented by an Englishman, they seem to have been perfected by the French. I know a guy who tried one at a school in the Alps. He said it was a gas, but you need arms like tree trunks to hold them in position after a while. If you want to see some serious insanity, there is a guy who has attached a small jet engine from a model plane (think 8 foot wingspan model) and can climb several thousand feet when everything goes right. Of course it sometimes sets him on fire, but what the hell. Crazy is as crazy does.

Not to get this thread off topic, but here's a man who needs two haircuts who might help you.
The fact is that Quantum mechanics and Newtonian physics are viewed differently.

I believe the Seals use these as well in conjucture with HALO (high altitutude low openning) jumps. The jump at high altitude and can glide 30 to 40 miles to the target undetected. I can't believe this kind of thing hasn't made it into a James Bond movie yet

Skip the quantum mechanics part.

Being a cat in a Schrödinger Box and flying a Wing-Suit are both events where death is fairly probable.

Reminds me of that old comedy line, "I just flew in from New York, boy are my arms tired." :D

Sort of what I am discussing in the absolute truth thread. Prior to the observation or measurement (race) the horse is potentially both a winner and a loser. The act of measuring forces the outcome. Simply put the horse is not either or, it is both until we measure.

Thanks for posting Harry!
That, to me, is absolute insanity! but, at the same time, I loved it! Being able to experience that type of rush would be incredible. My only concern, is that we are always trying to push the envelope to get or obtain that rush again....what the hell can this guy do next?? lol

There is a huge difference between a dirty old man like me, and a nasty old man like some who say that someone is going to be poll dancing next. Now I do get mixed up sometimes where I post things, but it is the thought that counts.
