I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Tony Saunders this afternoon in Glen Burnie Md.

Tony is the pitcher who broke his arm throwing a pitch in a game.
He is now an agent and at this time represents Steve Clevenger,http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/c/clevest01.shtml among others, a 2nd year catcher for the Cubs.

Good conversation among us and amazing that I found out that Steve went to the same high school that my 3 sons went to.

Dave Dravecky of the Giants also broke his arm while pitching in 1989, as he was attempting a comeback from cancer surgery on the arm.

A name from the past. I saw him pitch for the Kane County Cougars around 1993-1994. They were the A league affiliate for the Florida Marlins.

I remember Dravecky breaking his arm, but he had cancer. Not sure how Saunders did it.
