Surick's ROI +223% @ M1

“A valuable informational link from The Meadowlands website is the Track Master product StatsMaster (http://www.trackmaster.com/statsmaster/M.html) which offers statistics on all horses, trainers and drivers for the meet and has various sort features.



For example, although Yannick Gingras is the defending dash champ, drives first call for top barn the Burke stable and is certainly a fan favorite at The M, his current Return On Investment (ROI) is a remarkable +30 percent (a 30 percent return on win bets). The 2012 USHWA Driver of the Year Tim Tetrick, on the other hand, is currently sporting a ROI of -64 percent.



Early dash leader Dave Miller has been on some roll and is currently six wins up on Gingras from an equal number of starts.His ROI is just about flat at -1 percent.



Trainer-wise, Ron Burke leads with 11 wins from 78 starts and sends out many heavily bet entries. Revisiting the Stats Master information,a great disparity exists between Burke's ROI at -32 percent versus hot starter Nick Surick (six wins from 13 starts) whose ROI is whopping +223 percent.”

Problem is those stats could turn around any day.If I bet them it's a sure thing to go down.

I feel the same way roy, haha. But it's also tough to get a good gauge with those stats because the sample size is so small. Surick with only 13 starts. It's great that 6 of them have won, but with another 13 starts, maybe he gets 2 wins, so he's 8 for 26, not nearly as good unelss those two winners pay $100 plus each.
