race 1: (6)I'LL BE BACK closed like a train 6 wide in his debut under very mild ride. Looks very dangerous going two turns tonight.

2nd ($7.20 - 4.60)

Race 1
:5: looks good in PP and should appreciate the class drop and shades
Note to self B Patin has one gear as the speed duel cooked me. See the stride on the winner. Wow
Nice place ticket. Was not gonna catch the camel.

race 2: (5)HEROS SOUL is on a steady upward pattern broken last time maybe for pointing too high (10.000 level)

15 > 28 > 34 > 40 > 52 > 54 v

this pattern without ups and downs in unusual at this level and the gelding is an in the money shot.

race 3: favorite (8)Sweet Lady Bug looks shaky with just one workout (Dec 29) in two months (health problems??). (4)Sligomarker with her speed and the drop would be interesting but no workouts in 5 weeks is a guarantee of stamina shortage again. Well bet (6)GAMBLING BLUES showed speed in her debut and improved in the morning after the race

51.4 > 48.4 (15 lengths)

and she's got two more workouts por a good second start trainer. Interesting longshot.

Would normally follow Rosier but think that Herbert can get the :2: home with a better post. The :5: could be in the money.

race 4: favorite (9)RAPID DELTA is a much improved horse since moved to this small but winning barn (27 runs, 7 wins, 27% last year)

NPDelta Downs isn't like NYRA at all. in NYRA, if the trainer doesn't report a workout he gets fined. i would think that Delta is much different because there are plenty of farms and training center's around that area, Delta figures to be a lot more lax.

the trainer could have had a free pass and run for the $5000, he chose to go in for the $10K. to some that might have been the signal that the horse is good and ready.

I was guessing that, too many horses run ok without published workouts, I am still novice in cheap tracks...

lambo, as you told me last week, DD is a very tough track to get a handle on ....gonna try the 5 in herethe main problem i have with Delta is that horses come there from mile tracks. some trainers can make the adjustment, other's can't. to me there are to many distances to take into consideration. just because i am not good at it, there are others that are great.

my favorite track to play is THE MOUNTAIN these days, but they are closed another 43 days. i am watching horses now that i know will be back to the Mountain when they re-open.

race 5: (2)TIZ THE KID with the drop should win. (6)Woo Woo Kid woke up big time last time closing 10 wide (blew the turn) and may like the added ground.

Even with the class hike that :6: gets better jock and moves forward.
Feel the chalk :2: could have won at the FG for a tag and this is sale move.
:5: could run better for family connections and drop.

Glad I am not betting tonight. This is a tough card.

Observation with the track tonight. No horses that are not in position going into the far turn are having any shot. Cranking on the far turn is hard on the horse as I feel the track is greasy. Horses that can make a good late run inside are doing ok. Riders get pea-hearted when the track is like this. Longshots :faint:

Seeing the :3: has 2 wins and the trainer has 2 wins. His best horse in the barn
The :6: and :7: should go early and that might hurt inside posts. The :3: could send today and be able to secure spot on rail in the pocket. The :8 benefit and could come late. :4: gets a good trip outside pocket.
:3: :4: :8: trip plays.
I am visualizing the trip with the :6: or :7: holding on while other faulters on turn

The :7: being rank kind of screwed Rosier and really the whole pace.
All the numbers for the super here boys and girls. Good handicapping.
Spaniard take note on the jock on the :6: .No agent barn jock. The change from Inirio indicated no agents wanted to ride the horse for their jocks.
Inirio had to ride the :8: for family law. The ride you saw tonight was a courtesy ride. If :6: gets Inirio back next out he will run much better. Just a hunch. ;)

dam 4....I got beat by the 6 for 325 jockey

Think about it this way. It is a long time between steak dinners. If this guy is gonna have any kind of shot he will ride his arse of. Guaranteed the jock will be hanging around with this horse in the mornings as this is his big horse. No lie.

Paddock Pick :10:
Can stay clean outside and make move top of stretch to win by 3/4 lengths
Trainer angles
:3: :4: :6: exotics

That outside post screwed by exactly the distance of the loss. Meche will win that horse next out. Hope somebody had the 2 to win. I am just running angles for longshots. Play your winners if you got em. I play the pools
2ps :6: 13.90 not bad.

Handicapping the 9th. Ask this question. It is a nw4l or n1 of date for 15k tag.
Which horse is worth 15k to you knowing they are going to loose the last lifetime condition or the winner of the date.
Everybody here gets 15k for their bankroll.
Which horse is worth the money to claim.?
You might find the winner
Notice the weight on the :2: and the 12.5 claiming price ;)
The :6: is the only other horse in for the date condition.

Somebody better give some answers, and give your picks.

easy race to pass for me
When you find a race to pass for handicapping reasons sometimes it is worth it to look at the race as an trainer. The fact that Broberg took the weight off by going in for 12.5 for the rise in class was a red flag. The :6: was the only other 4 time winner.
The others like being NW4, it pays the bills.

For the last-terrible maiden right. Ok
Try this on for size.
Which horse really wants to win and loose their best friend.
Which horse has the most seconds. Is the same jock riding each time and almost getting there?
Look for the horse that actually can win with the idea they have a shot with n2l types. Which horses are filling the race so that the low percentage owners can feed themselves and their horses. Which horses are for sale.
No pace handicapping. Just find the animal that really wants to graduate.

I will try this
:4: picks up Patin Jr and has ability to get to the lead and wire this bunch on a pedigree play and a last race was to be bad to real angle.

Wanted no part of being rated and blew all chances by being so keyed up. The intention was there but the trip killed. Will note that next time if Patin rides back going short.
That's it folks goodnight.
Thanks Spaniard.

Notice your rider switch? Who rode the winner. The :1: will run better when Leblanc rides him back. Most likely 2nd ;)
