The hard part of betting these better bred maidens is the trip.
The :11: got hung wide and had not much left but you don't beat them up if they have no shot. Same as Poster Girl race from Sat.

lamboguy, they don't know what to do with this horse, being training on turf to try another game "just in case". In the USA they run horses on turf/dirt/poly 80% of the time regardless of pedigree. In this case the horse's got and OK breeding for turf, but he didn't ran a yard, like all the market leaders of the race. When a horse shows no ability on dirt they try turf "just in case". Here at least the horse had decent papers for the green.

lamboguy, they don't know what to do with this horse, being training on turf to try another game "just in case". In the USA they run horses on turf/dirt/poly 80% of the time regardless of pedigree. In this case the horse's got and OK breeding for turf, but he didn't ran a yard, like all the market leaders of the race. When a horse shows no ability on dirt they try turf "just in case". Here at least the horse had decent papers for the green.i have a good idea what to do with that horse, stop dreaming and drop the horse all the way down to the bottom and hope he finds his friends. somehow i think they already blew that move by running this guy over his head so many times

It's tough for the trainer to tell the owner: your expensive son of Bernardini out of a multiple grade 1 placed mare could win a Maiden Cl 12.500, but better if we run him in Tampa... who knows, maybe they were together (owner and trainer) at the auction...

anyone like the 12 in lrl prk r 7?that was a great pick even though he finished 4th. the horse almost cleared and would have won if he got to the top, the 5 was a tad to tough. it was the right price and you had a real good eye on that one.
