Race 1: Open heat. Delicate and style versatile (6)CABO KERRY has run two good races in a row in the past and here he's well placed outside several weak speed horses.

3rd ($2.80)

Race 2: (3)TOUGH TO CATCH is a fast improving gelding, and the cross Cozzene X Thunder Gulch has lots of potential for turf racing and routing. Very dangerous first time on the green.

Race 3: (8)MOUNTAIN MINISTER looks like the speed of this field and he could run the turn over the 1 or 2 path. We can forgive him his last race going 7 wide. Back with blinkers and after a decent 4f workout he should return to the initial good Beyer pattern (28 > 38).

another wide trip

2nd ($3.40 - 2.60)

The Spaniard

race 4: sprinter (3)EVALUATE has run well routing in the past, he's in good form and here he can enjoy a good trip.

Race 5: Another tough heat. (7)BUDDY PRINCESS ran a superb race two back and today drops from a starter 7k where she was overmatched. Looks like her new trainer has improved her.

Race 7: 2 for 3 on turf and already route winner (9)SLIVEN may have a good trip over a turf course where speed is pretty dangerous

DELTA DOWNS

The Spaniard
12-27-2012, 06:41 PM
Race 1: (4)MONTAGUSKA cuts 50% the price and shortens from 6,5 to 5f. This nicely bred colt can wake up tonight

3rd ($4.40)

The Spaniard
12-27-2012, 07:09 PM
Race 2: Formerly a slow filly, (1)SHAWNAAPHORA seems to have recuperate the spark she had one year ago, when she won by 8 lenghts and wire to wire with a expensive tag of 20.000. If she reproduces her last race high speed (22.3 > 46.2) she should win first time at this 3L level.

3rd ($3.00)

The Spaniard
12-27-2012, 07:38 PM
race 3: (2)BLUSHING TOUGH missed the break badly in his debut, but he's training great and with that experience under the belt he can create a surprise.

I going to take a shot with the :10: Thats her majesty in the 4th.

Mght have been a little short first start of the meet.....last sneaky good 4th sprinting.Maybe distance beyond her scope but at likely double digit odds worth the play.

The Spaniard
12-27-2012, 08:04 PM
race 4: Lightly raced (7)COMBAT'S LOVE with just 6 runs routing is unexposed at this trip (6: 1 - 2- 1) and she knows how to finish her races. She shows the second best figures (All Tee it isn't getting money as last time). Three nice workouts in December, so she's in good shape.

10 has to demostrate she's got the distance (the pedigree says yes but the ability of the trainer (11% win out of 84 routes is dubious)

FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maxi

the odds 2 races back (of layoff): 5/1
second after the layoff: 7/1
tonight: 25/1

conclusion: they had no confidence in the filly, the didn't read her last two races correctly as you have done Maxi. Many trainers know about horses but nothing about handicapping.

smart coup

Race 5: (2)CHRISAGOGO is a well bred gelding and the mile looks fine pedigreewise.

1st ($24.80 - 13.00 - 7.00)

your longshot woke me up Maxi

Im staying out of this one but I do like your pick a bit....the main contenders look like proven losers. GL

his great grandmother won the Matron Stakes, here that was a gold nugget...

Race 6: Too much speed in this heat. (1)RINGAROUNDTHEMOON is the only one that knows how to rate and pass horses. He'll save ground and try to fly down the strecth.

Race 6 is an inscrutable mess to me.....

The Spaniard
12-27-2012, 09:30 PM
Race 7: (1-A)Storming Bud will set a fast pace to put a red carpet to his closer companion (1)The Divine Tunel, but a very strong pace is what needs deep closer (5)ANGELONMYSHOULDER, who last time would had beaten The Divine Tunel with a clean trip (checked badly on the far turn).

Race 8: (2)SHARED PROPERTY is training great and here finds an easy spot to regroup and relaunch his career, but he always finds trouble and (4)DANCE WITH MONARCH is dangerous in his second start after a long layoff.

win & win
