About Us
This site is devoted to
anything and everything related to Thoroughbred Horse Racing. It was originally
created to fill a void left with the shutting down of the original Daily Racing Form
message board.
I do all of the web site maintenance myself, including design, layout and
implementation. I do have a very important contributor to this site when racing
shifts to Saratoga in August, whom I like to call my Saratoga Source. I can't thank
this person enough for their contributions thus far, and their inspiration for the future.
I have personally been involved with racing in some form or another for the better
part of the past 13 years. My personal goal right now is to continue to grow my
handicapping and wagering skills, through the use of my computer software, which I call
Pace Advantage (thus the name of this web site.) Old timers from the old Prodigy
Network days will remember me and my software.
Of course, it's not just all numbers and bets. I do love the magnificent art
of the sport itself, the beauty of these majestic beasts running their hearts out to reach
the finish line first. In that vein, I also enjoy discussing the horses themselves,
and not just how to handicap them.
But, enough rambling for now. Hopefully, you have some idea of where I am
coming from with this website. Together, let's make it one of the more interesting
sites in cyberspace.
